4/Fr Silvester has received the large consignment of donations sent last year he writes “This consignment faced extensive delays at the customs check point in Kampala; since it was the first time for us to receive such a big collection of donations from the UK.

The customs office is now aware of our link to St Worthing and Lancing Parish.

The customs office has assured us that any subsequent donations will not face such delays.

The community of St Faustina expresses deep thanks to the Parish Priest and Parishioners of Worthing and Lancing parish for their tremendous support.

This and earlier donations have greatly contributed not only to the development of the health centre, but also to the overall social health of the community and the school pupils”.  Fr Silvester sent a large number of photos, some of them will be posted on the church Facebook pages & there will be a display in both churches shortly. https://stfaustinamedicalcenter.com/

5/ LIVE SIMPLY Tip of the Week Keep your Recycling Clean: free from food and drink leftovers and dry: soggy paper and cardboard can’t be recycled and can clog up machinery when sorted, please keep everything loose, (not tied up in plastic bags) & squashed flat. You can then get more in your bin and we can get more into our recycling collection vehicles and make fewer trips
