2/ CAFOD – Overseas Aid Budget: As mentioned, the Prime Minister has announced that the aid budget will be cut again, to its lowest level since 1999. In some of the most vulnerable places on earth, more people will die and many more will lose their livelihoods. Please contact your MP and call on the UK government to stand by our sisters and brothers around the world https://cafod.org.uk/campaign/latest-campaigns

3/ Parish projects we are approaching the end of our financial support to our present parish projects. We are now looking for new projects.  We intend to continue to support projects nationally, locally and abroad. Any parishioner who knows of any that could be considered please contact a member of the Justice & Peace Group.  Thank you to those who have already responded, we are still looking for more.

5/ LIVE SIMPLY Tip of the Week Notice what’s going on around you. You can wait until you’re retired and you’ve quit the rat race, but then you’d have missed out on a lifetime of savouring the ordinary pleasures of life: the sound of birds chirping, the feel of the wind, the taste of fresh fruit.
