1/ Transition Town Worthing Repair Café We are now taking bookings for the next one on Saturday 30th November at Friends/Quaker Meeting House, 34 Mill Rd, Worthing, BN11 5DR from 10am – 4pm Our talented team of volunteers can help you to repair your clothes, toys, bicycles, small household electrical/electronic items, small items of furniture, computers/laptops/tablets, and knife/scissor sharpening. We also have specialist repairers who come in as and when needed for things like: jewellery, simple upholstery & furniture repairs (chairs and stools), darning and soft toy/doll renovation – so do let us know if you need any of these services.

2/ COP 29 – 11th to 22nd Nov is where world leaders comes together to agree on the actions to address the climate crisis, such as limiting the global temperature rise to 1.5 degrees Celsius, helping vulnerable communities adapt to the effects of climate change, and achieving net-zero emissions by 2050. 6/ Aid to the Church in Need next Sunday 17th Nov there will be a 2nd collection to support the Diocese of Nouna, Burkina Faso who have welcomed 30,000 displaced Christians of whom 80% are school age. Any parish that collects £500 the amount will be doubled by a generous benefactor.
