1/ Gatwick Detainees Welfare Group – give out second hand clothes to the men held in immigration detention at Gatwick (Brook House and Tinsley House detention centres), currently they need Medium t-shirts, Medium & large sweatshirts, Medium & large hoodies, Medium jogging bottoms, Small, medium or large jeans, second-hand trainers. Men’s clothes only.  If you have any please place in the boxes at both churches. http://www.gdwg.org.uk/

 

 

 

2/ Live Simply Tip of the Week. Waste less—Reduce food waste, and avoid throwing away food whenever possible. Always bring your own bags when going grocery shopping.
 

3/ Parish Projects for 2024. We have a number of project & for the next few weeks we’ll be highlighting them one at a time.  The Columbans Adopt a Tree. This is a joint project between the Higaonon indigenous people on the island of Mindanao, Southern Philippines and the Missionary Society of St. Columban https://drive.google.com/file/d/1jFwR123pZbruMn8UBPQc7q2DfjxAKvRv/view

    2/ Live Simply Tip of the Week Go meat free. See if you can reduce your meat consumption at least one day each week, or reduce consumption of animal products. Buy local and in season fruits and vegetables, or try growing your own.
