The spiritual meaning of the mass intention consists of immersing a particular person or cause in the infinite sacrifice of Jesus Christ during the Eucharist, which is a powerful spiritual gift and expression of love, solidarity and support for the living and the dead. Mass intention is a gesture that strengthens ties with God and other people, and participating in Mass for a given intention allows for a deeper spiritual experience and drawing from the fruits of Christ’s sacrifice.

What is a mass intention?

Request for Mass intention: It is a specific request to celebrate the Holy Mass for a specific intention, you can request the Mass for the intention of the dead, the living, or in specific matters of life.

Participation in the sacrifice of Jesus:

The meaning of the mass intention is to immerse a person or cause in the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, which is present on the altar.

Spiritual meaning

The best spiritual gift: Ordering Mass is the best spiritual gift Christians can give each other.

Expression of love and support: The mass intention is a gesture of love, support and prayerful solidarity.

Important aspects

1. Infinite value: The sacrifice of Christ has infinite value and effectiveness, and the Mass intention allows us to draw from these fruits.

2. Memory of the dead: Ordering Mass for the dead is an important act of mercy for the soul, just like praying for the living.

3. Mass stipends (donation): The donation made on the occasion of ordering intentions is an expression of our commitment and co-responsibility for the Church. The monetary sacrifice for ordering the intention of the Holy Mass is an expression of the will of the faithful and is not a fee for the Mass. The amount of the donation depends on the ability and will of the person ordering the intention. The priest celebrates Mass regardless of this sacrifice.

Please, be aware that in this place you can only check the date availability and not to book the mass.
