The Way Prayer Group Returns for Lent 2025

The Way Prayer Group Lent 2025

This Lent why not grow in the transformative power of prayer. “The Way” Prayer Group returns for a limited time on Monday evenings at St Mary of the Angels. Do you want to be with a supportive community of prayer, and to deepen your relationship with God? Look no further, and join us through Lent, starting Monday 10th March at 7.30pm. As St Pio of Pietrelcina wrote, “Prayer is the oxygen of the soul.” More information from Stuart Burman (stuartpburman@gmail.com).

Remember, Lent’s three pillars are prayer, fasting and almsgiving–meaning that we’re called to do more than just abstain from a particular food or activity. So come and join us in prayer at 7:30pm in the Lady Chapel at St Mary of the Angels in Worthing,  starting Monday 10th March and running weekly to Monday 17th April.

The Lourdes Pilgrimage Big Sing 26th October

THE LOURDES PILGRIMAGE BIG SING Worth Abbey, Saturday 26th October, starting at 2.00pm. Celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Lourdes Pilgrimage by raising your voice to sing
some “Lourdes favourites”. Entry is free with donations to the pilgrimage welcome on the day. See the Arundel & Brighton Diocese website to let the team know you are coming.

Lent Small Groups

There will be a chance to prepare properly for the glorious celebration of Easter by reflecting, discussing and praying over our Lord’s gifts to us at Holy Family Church, Lancing during Lent. We will meet at 2.15pm in the Gathering Room on Tuesday 20th and 27th February, and 5th, 12th and 19th March. We will use the material from the diocesan “Invited” programme. It would be great to see you there.
