3/ From CAFOD over 17,000 children have been killed in Gaza. Famine is closing in. Hospitals lie in ruins. And life-saving aid is stuck at the border.

This is not just a humanitarian crisis – it’s the systematic erosion of what makes us human.

The UK government is right to condemn Israel’s current actions in Gaza and suspend trade negotiations with Israel. But this is far too little.

Please tell your MP that the UK government must take bolder and more decisive action https://cafod.org.uk/campaign/latest-campaigns

4/ Transition Town Worthing Repair Café offers a fantastic monthly repair service for your broken and worn out domestic items. It is run by volunteers who have given up their free time to help you with your repair, and all we ask for is a donation to cover running costs.  Book now for our next Repair Café session on Saturday 30th August– 10am-3.30pm at the Quaker Meeting House, 34 Mill Road, Worthing, BN11 5DRhttp://www.ttworthing.org/repair-cafe/
