4/ Live Simply Tip of the week buy whole fruits and vegetables instead of pre-packaged varieties: Pre-packaged apple slices, baby carrots or salad mixes may be convenient, but they are expensive and create a lot of unnecessary trash. Worthing Wednesday Market has lots of varieties of loose fruit to choose from & at low prices!

5/ LiveSimply “The future demands that we learn to collaborate more and to grow together.”  Pope Leo XIV (drawing new maps of hope)

CAFOD’ s latest PowerPoint demonstrates the progression that Live Simply has made over the years, inspired by the Live Simply journey through Living Simply, Living Sustainably and Living in Solidarity and Its culmination in an Eco award. This leads to bringing about the Common Good and the HOPE to come, that is, “…encouraging a culture of encounter and collaboration” LS#71

Pope Francis summed this up in Laudato Si, “Creation accounts suggest …that human life is grounded in three fundamental and closely intertwined relationships, with God, with our neighbour, and finally with the very earth itself, …all it takes is one good person to restore HOPE.  (LS#71)

Just one good person is needed!

St Mary’s is a LiveSimply church & we hope Holy Family will soon become one.  LiveSimply PowerPoint    CAFOD_What_is_livesimply_presentation.pptx
