Syrian/Turkish Earthquake Parishioners will recall the huge collection of goods made on behalf of Samar’s Aid charity & it’s work in Syria.  Samara Levy the founder, has written of the challenges in setting up of a Medical Centre at Deir Ez-Zor in her book “Rebuilding Ruins”.  The horrific earthquake on the Syrian/Turkish boarder nearly two weeks ago has again brought this work into sharp focus.  Donations can be made to www.samarasaidappeal.org.  Alternatively, for details on how to support the CAFOD Syria-Turkey Earthquake Appeal, go to www.cafod.org.uk   Please pray for all those effected by this disaster.  Thank you.

Parish Projects In April we will be looking for another Project to take over from Living Pearl who we’ve been supporting for two years. SHOUT the homeless/austerity project will continue for another year,  Anyone who may know of a future project we can support please email rod.504t@ntlworld.com or speak to any of the Justice & Peace members.

LIVE SIMPLY Tip of the Week Keep your Recycling Clean: free from food and drink leftovers and dry: soggy paper and cardboard can’t be recycled and can clog up machinery when sorted, please keep everything loose, (not tied up in plastic bags) & squashed flat. You can then get more in your bin and we can get more into our recycling collection vehicles and make fewer trips
