1/ Gatwick Detainees Welfare Group give out second hand clothes to the men held in immigration detention at Gatwick (Brook House and Tinsley House detention centres) They currently  need Shorts Trainers/shoes Jacket Jumper Joggers Trousers Track suit Suitcase T-shirt Jeans, all sizes.  Men’s clothes only.  If you have any please place in the boxes the following two Sundays at both churches.


2/ Live simply Tip of the Week . It’s so easy to save plastic waste – and cash – by bringing a packed lunch to work or by taking a picnic on a day out


3/ The United Nations Development GoalsThe 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.   Goal 11  Make Cities & Human Settlements Inclusive, Safe, Resiliant & Sustainable By 2030, ensure access for all to adequate, safe and affordable housing and basic services and upgrade slums.  Affordable, accessible and sustainable transport systems for all, plus much more can be accessed via the website


 4/ CAFOD Petition thanks to everyone who signed  Following a shock announcements that our government intends to renege on its promises to fight the climate crisis, Approx. 145 signatures were obtained.


5/ Parish Projects From the Parish project money so far, we have been able to donate to some local charities, including SHOUT, Electric Storm Youth, & Ferring Country Centre, Superstar Arts, plus a donation to CAFOD for their medical outreach teams throughout the world. See letters of appreciation that will be displayed at both churches.
