CAFOD – COP27 London March for the Climate Sat 12th Nov Central London A year ago, thousands of us demanded leaders take the action necessary to end the climate emergency as they gathered in Glasgow at the COP26 climate talks.  Progress was made – but it wasn’t enough. Too many cans were kicked down the road to the next UN climate summit, COP27, which is taking place in Egypt.

On November 12, midway through the summit, thousands of people from across the country will be making their voices heard to demand climate justice in solidarity with the Global Day of Action called by Egyptian groups at COP27.

Ordinary people will be out in force to show support for our brothers and sisters around the world, and call on our government to step up to the plate.  A good number of local people should be attending. https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/cop27-global-day-of-action-mobilisation-tickets-433464954347
