English Martyrs Rosary – 9th March 5pm

Feeling powerless seeing the terrifying destruction in the Holy Land? Worried about our brethren there and escalation? Join us in using St. Padre Pio’s “weapon”, stronger than any earthly power, to pray for God’s light to shine on the land of Jesus’s birth to bring about an end to suffering with lasting justice and peace for all. At English Martyrs Church on Saturday 9th March, from 5pm to 5.30pm, we will be saying the rosary. Please join us as we raise our voices to Heaven with one voice to ask for help.

Holy Family Building Projects: An Update

We are currently in the process of seeking and evaluating quotations for the replacement of our old hall. Before we can gain diocesan permission to proceed with such a major project, we have first to ensure that Holy Family church is itself in good repair in accordance with our most recent quinquennial survey. These tasks are in hand and we will inform parishioners as progress is made. Please bear with us!

The Promise of the Father: Life in the Spirit Seminar

The Promise of the Father

“The Promise of the Father” is an exciting new course for Arundel and Brighton Diocese in support of the Word Who is Life Pastoral Plan. The course aims to help us to live our lives empowered by the Holy Spirit. It is held over seven sessions, each with a well renowned speaker and small group discussions and starts just after Easter, on the 10th April 2024 and will run to the 23rd May.

You can attend online or in-person as the event is hosted from the Arundel Cathedral Centre in Arundel and is completely free. There are many excellent speakers, Michelle Moran, Bishop Richard Moth, Fr Richard Ounsworth. Fr Rod Jones, Fr Graham Ricketts and Deacon Phil Richardson – and saving the best to last, the course includes a special service in Arundel Cathedral on Pentecost Vigil, the Saturday evening before Pentecost, for us to come together for Mass, Adoration and to receive prayer for the filling and empowerment of the Holy Spirit.

The Promise Of the Father promises to be an exciting, enriching and God willing, a life-changing experience for everyone. Spaces in the venue and online are limited so early booking is essential, so please book now using the link below to avoid disappointment.
