1/ Take action for COP30 with CAFOD The COP30 UN climate negotiations in Brazil from 10-21 November will be one of the most critical climate summits in years.

With over 93% of the most climate vulnerable countries also suffering a debt crisis, in this Jubilee year the UK must play a key role in pushing rich countries to unlock new sources of public finance for climate action – especially for those countries that are suffering a debt crisis too. Will you message the UK Secretary attending COP30? Take action for COP30

 

 

 

2/ SHOUT Helps those who are really struggling to feed their families and the homeless. If you can spare an extra item from your shopping, please donate it to SHOUT Worthing – Soup Kitchen. There are boxes for food donations at the church entrances of St Mary’s. Holy Family also support a similar charity. http://www.worthingsoupkitchen.co.uk

4/ Aid to the Church in Need ACN UK Homepage are a Catholic charity bringing spiritual and practical help to Catholics and other Christians where they are persecuted, oppressed or in pastoral need through prayer, information and action.  Next Sunday 2nd November there will be a second collection going towards their good work across the world, you can give through the baskets at the ends of the church, the card machines or online at ACN UK Homepage
