1/ National Emergency Briefing Film National Emergency Briefing  is being shown at New Pavilion Beachhouse Park off Lyndhurst Rd. If you care about local flooding, air pollution, food prices, cost of energy you may wish to see this. Thurs 30th April 7pm. Admission free.

 

2/ Live Simply Tip of the Week For one journey a week, don’t use the car. Cycle or walk instead and get some exercise. Average cost of a gym session – £4/£5. Cost of pedalling or walking fast to work – nothing. Provided by Friends of the Earth

 

3/ SHOUT The WSK Hub Café is great place to go for breakfast, lunch or simply coffee and cake. Everything is made onsite, including our homemade soup of the day, Irish Soda Bread and delicious cakes, we’re sure you’ll find something to suite.  All the proceeds of the cafe get put back into our other projects including our outreach programme, pop-up food banks and care in the community.

Open Monday’s to Friday’s (excluding Wednesdays) – 9:00am to 3pm (last orders 2:30pm) You can find us at: New Broadway, 35-36 Tarring Road, Worthing, BN11 4HP

There are boxes for food donations as usual at the church entrances of St Mary’s.   Holy Family also support a similar charity.
