2/ SHOUT Worthing Soup Kitchen I would like to thank you all for your support throughout 2023 it has been greatly appreciated. Our hub has been open and trading for 15 weeks and we are now in the position where we are going to be able to take on a full time Manager

We are in the process of securing another lease for 219 Tarring Road – here we will have a permanent home for our food pantry and community fridge. We have secured a year’s funding from Southern Housing to do this. This will enable us to open more often and tackle food waste better in our community.  We are going to run half of the new premises as a charity shop – that should enable us to raise enough finances to cover the following year’s rent as everyone knows – the food pantry will not make any money but cost us financially.  We will do our best to make this new venture work.  Here is to the New Year and I wish you all the best for your 2024 adventures!
