If you can spare an extra item from your shopping, please donate it to SHOUT Worthing – Soup Kitchen There are boxes for food donations at the church entrances of St Mary’s. Holy Family also support a similar charity http://www.worthingsoupkitchen.co.uk
SHOUT have a charity shop at 147 Montague Street, Worthing, supporting the most vulnerable in our community.
3/ Help us Shape our Plans Councils across West Sussex are inviting residents and people who work in the county to have their say on new draft plans to tackle climate change and prepare for its impacts.
The plans cover reducing carbon emissions from areas such as transport, homes and businesses, as well as adapting to risks including heatwaves and flooding. Proposed actions include improving energy efficiency, supporting greener travel and community energy, and increasing sustainable drainage.
