Put your faith into action and share the Lord’s love by supporting our global neighbours experiencing shortages of food and safe water. Your gift can support children like Tayla in Zimbabwe to stay in school by helping communities and schools provide nourishing meals, improve access to water and grow food in school gardens. 2/ Fairtrade Fortnight 21st Sept to 4th Oct celebrates the farmers and workers behind the products we love. Through Fairtrade, they earn fairer prices, better working conditions, and the power to shape the future for farmers and communities in the developing world. Although Fairtrade Fortnight ends today goods are available in many local shops & café’s throughout the year. St Mary’s is a Fairtrade Church and Worthing is a Fairtrade Town. Fairtrade Fortnight
3/ An exciting new faith and justice six-month programme from the Columbans and the FCJ Centre for Spirituality and EcoJustice, aimed at young adults (18-25), to go alongside work or study.

If you can spare an extra item from your shopping, please donate it to SHOUT Worthing – Soup Kitchen There are boxes for food donations at the church entrances of St Mary’s. Holy Family also support a similar charity
